Decorating Gingerbread Houses

Nothing says fun and yum like building and decorating gingerbread houses. You can simply go to a grocery store and pick out all of the ingredients you need such as gingerbread cookies, graham crackers, marshmallows, gumdrops, M&M’s, Skittles, candy canes, chocolate Hershey kisses, sprinkles, peppermints, licorice, regular pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels, whip cream and much more. Once you get all of the ingredients together, gather the family around to make the gingerbread houses. You can even hold a contest on who has the best gingerbread house even though everyone is a winner, it’s all about having fun and spending quality time together as a family.

Holiday Lights Tour

Most neighborhoods are all lit up for the holidays with lights and decorations. As a family, you all can get in the car and drive around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights at different homes, parks, and businesses. If you all don’t feel like driving or being in the car, you can simply walk around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights and

decorations at different parks, homes, and businesses. People can be super creative, and it would be nice to spend some time together while picking out the most beautiful lights and Christmas decorations on people’s houses, on their roofs, and in their yards. You all can pick out your favorite and/or hold a contest between each other to see who had the best-lit property in the neighborhood.
